SWS warmly welcomes new instrumentalists to join us. We don't hold formal auditions, however our repertoire is typically of an AMEB grade 5 standard or above, as a guide. We recommend that you come along to a rehearsal or two to try the band out, prior to making any commitment.

We rehearse on Wednesdays at Queenwood School for Girls, 47 Mandalong Road, Mosman 2088, entry via Hunter Road gate. Rehearsal time is 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

Membership fees are due in January and June each year.

Current rates per semester are:

$175 for a full fee paying adult

$130 concession/student rate

family rate of $350 for 2 full fee paying adults and $50 for each additional family member
